About Course
Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Statistical Computing with R programming is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, practical skills and key understanding to learners about calculus, in-depth and statistical computing in the R environment. Statistical Computing is an expanding area in statistical research, methods, tools and applications. It includes computationally intensive statistics, such as Monte Carlo methods, bootstrap, MCMC, density estimation, nonparametric regression, classification and clustering, and multivariate data visualisation. R is a statistical computing environment based on the S language. The software is free under the terms of the Free Software Foundation’s GNU General Public License. You can download the course as per the course lesson instructions from our learning platform. This course is self-paced. Therefore you can spend the maximum time downloading study materials & work on real-life examples to analyse, assess and interpret data with real-life practical experience to use a range of computation techniques using R programming.
At the end of this qualification, you will be able to
- Understand statistical tools, techniques and applications
- Apply statistical methods to new problems
- Analyse and assess data and interpret results
- Apply statistical computing techniques using statistical software R to the data and get results

Qualification Credits and Duration
Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Statistical Computing with R Programming is 15 credits qualification and can be completed in the flexible learning environment (1 month to six months).
How will you study?
Our learning portal will be available to you study 24/7. You can use your Desktop Computer, Laptop, Mobile or Tablet anytime in a flexible way to study entirely online.
Assessment Methods
Assessment methods include only assignments. There is no exam in this course. You will be required to submit an assignment of each unit of a minimum of 1500-2500 words in length to pass the unit and to achieve unit credits. Your assignment topic will be based on knowledge about R and its importance in Statistics and practical skills on the random data using R programming. You will upload the Online Learning Platform work as a portfolio based on the qualification learning objective to achieve credits.
Results and Certificate
We will update your result to the learning portal. At the end of the course, you will achieve a certificate and a transcript by the awarding body, EBMA.
Who is this course for?
This qualification is useful for individuals from all over the world who are already on the job for personal and professional development or re-entering employment after a period of absence in any sector where your job responsibility will be to analyse and assess data using statistical computing (R programming). If you are interested in joining the world of statistics or mathematics, you can also enrol in this course.
Entry Requirements
Most of our courses don’t have entry requirements. However, we prefer learners to have a computer/Laptop or an equivalent device with word/excel and a good internet speed.
